Job Responsibility

i. Design and development of parts for new models, minor &limited edition vehicles,
ii. Coordination of design activity, initiation of sourcing and line trial.
iii. Evaluation of systems, and taking countermeasures as necessary based on line feedback and evaluation.
iv. Ensuring compliance of multiple vehicles to regulations.
v. Timely action based on line / market feedback

Competency Required:

Responsibilities:
1. Participates in timely, efficient and cost-effective design/analysis & development of tractor, specific assigned hydraulic projects.
2. Ensure completeness and correctness of designs, layouts and drawings for specific elements of hydraulic systems being developed and/or improved per project plan and schedule consistent with assigned project and product line objective.
3. Ensure the use of appropriate engineering techniques (DFMEA, DFA, CAD &CAE) and considers Manufacturing processes and technology to produce cost effective designs considering applicable safety and environmental regulations and standards.
4. Requests support from and provide necessary inputs to product integration platform to ensure timely completion of project elements, to resolve problems, and to obtain information for optimum design.
5. Resolves functional and hydraulic problems on assigned elements of projects.
6. Maintains files on assigned tasks, as requested.
7. Keeps informed of engineering and hydraulics technological developments, and evolving field practices.
8. Work closely with engineering lab, purchasing, manufacturing and other groups throughout development of projects.

Area of Expertise Reqd, if any:

Person with tractor hydraulics design/analysis experience to be preferred.
