Job Description

• Provide design support for drafting and modeling of GDC Dies including Alloy Wheels for cost reduction and performance improvement
• Prepare DFMEA and support APQP process for product design
• Do hand calculations and simple finite element analysis based on the need
• Understand engineering specifications and prepare Design Validation Plan (DVP)
• Prepare samples as per customer quality standards and conduct the test including fatigue testing
• Coordinate the test with the test labs outside Endurance including sample preparation and report the results and give recommendations for improvements

Qualifications

B.E.(Mechanical Engg) or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a reputed university

Experience

Minimum 3-4 years of experience in product design and development including -

- Background to work in a Aluminum / Ferrous foundry is preferred

- Experience to design and developed casting product in automotive industry

- Testing experience including fatigue and material testing

- Ability to operator test rigs and test equipment to meet engineering specifications

- Ability to work with cross functional team and interface with the plants to get the right engineering inputs to carry out the test and analysis

- Ability to guide the design based on the simulation and test results
