commercial vehicles) engine components, alternators, turbochargers,

Job Profile:
we are looking for a specialist in Product Development/R&D/Product
Engineering/Current Engineering/Application Engineering with 1-6 years
of experience in a manufacturing industry under vehicle
integration/engine integration/engine testing.
Should have Pro-E/CAD skills, concepts of BOM preparation and change
implementation
Key responsibilities include:
1. Understanding and evaluating customer technical requirement.
2. Providing Engine Solution to the Requiremnet-identifying a suitable
engine on the available stable or to work out new solution.
3. Supporting customers on the technical side to build vehicle with
Cummins Engine.
4. Testing and approving the engines on the vehicle as per Cummins
norms. Sign off for further production.
5. Customer approvals on designs and new engines.
6. Working out design proposals for the application parts like
Flywheel, Flywheel housing, Controllers-Electronic, Connections,
Exhaust manifolds, Alternators, Starters, Ring Gears, Air compressors
for cost reduction.
7. Design release of the above parts.
8. Working closely with supply chain team for parts development.
9. Approvals from customers on these parts.
10. Project scoping, planning work, estimating the resources required,
organizing and scheduling, acquiring resources, assigning tasks,
directing activities, controlling project execution, reporting
progress, analyse results/outcome and plan improvements. Risk
assesment and course correction.
11. Tracking and reporting to internal and customer management teams.
12. Understanding customer needs and translating to clear deliverables
Educational Qualifications and Experience:
The ideal candidate will be a Diploma Mechanical with 4-6 years of
experience or BE with 2-3 years of experience in
mechanical,auto,product engineering under vehicle integration,engine
integration,vehicle testing and engine testing.
