Job description:
Mission:
*To define and follow-up the Validation and Certification Plans of the Wind-Turbine and its subsystems on the basis of the validation and certification Product requirements ensuring:
* (i) an efficient execution in terms of cost, quality and time,
* (ii) obtain as a result a validated and certified Product for its commercialization and operation.
Activities:
*- Definition of the Validation and Certification Strategies of the Product. This is done introducing the validation/certification requirements and the corresponding acceptance criteria in the product specification through the so-called VRAC deliverable. These validation/certification requirements are established in terms of the methods (test, analysis, calculation, analogy, etc.) agreed to demonstrate the fulfillment of the product requirements.
*- To ensure that the validity of all design criteria and hypothesis has been demonstrated by means of previous product experience or tests.
*- Definition, execution and follow-up of the product Validation Plan (methods, prototypes, facilities, inter-relations, planning). This definition is done on the basis of the validation requirements, hardware and facilities availability, technical and operational risk mitigation requirements and project milestones. Planning of tests so to comply with project objectives and milestones.
*- Definition, execution and follow-up of the Certification Plan of the product (configuration, methods, planning). Negotiation and agreement of this Plan with the Certification Body. To be the interface with the Certification Body.
*- To ensure the supply of all prototypes, test instrumentation, test tooling and auxiliary equipment. To ensure that the reception of this material is done according to established requirements. Plan, control and maintenance of the development configuration.
*- To ensure the availability of test facilities (bench, site). In case of using test sites belonging to clients, to ensure fulfillment contracts liabilities.
*- Management of TRNs released to cover the test needs: allocation and follow-up of execution.
*- To ensure that the test configuration is representative (as for certification and validation purposes)
*- Management of events taken place during the test execution. Management of inspections required during tests.
*- To check, confirm and demonstrate the compliance with the validation requirements. To plan the release of the Compliance Reports so to comply with the project milestones and objectives.
*- To demonstrate to the Certification Body the compliance of the product with the certification requirements
*- To anticipate restrictions of new Certification Regulations and Normatives. To plan design modifications required for its compliance.
*- To get the Product Type Certificate and Markings as specified in the product RD.
3.- KNOWLEDGE AND COMPETENCES:
Technical Knowledge Requirements:
*- Mechanical sub-profile: Experience in specification and analysis of product functional requirements and mechanical test design in mechanisms and structures (drive train, gearbox, couplings, bearings, hydraulic units, hydraulic actuators, etc.)
*- Electrical sub-profile: Experience in specification and analysis of product functional requirements and electrical test design in electrical systems (generator, power converter, MV switch-gears, transformers, electrical control cabinets) and control systems (control strategies, etc.).
*- DOORs (SW for management of product requirements)
*- Design of Experiments (DOE)
*- Basic knowledge in Measurement Technology (sensors, DAQ systems, etc.)
*- Basis knowledge in design techniques.
*- Statistics
*- Measurement Uncertainty Evaluation.
*- Knowledge of Product and Design international standards. Knowledge in IEC Standard series for WTG performance measurements (power curve, noise, loads, energy quality, grid dips).
Others:
*- English (written and oral)
Competences:
*- Team work management. Meeting management.
*- Organization and planification
*- Oral communication
*- Problem solving
