Skill Set Required---------------
Specific from PDC or Plastic industry.
Work Exp in Unigraphics solid modeling.
Work Exp in Unigraphics Surfacing.
Work Exp in core cavity extraction thru Mould Vizard.
Work Exp in core cavity extraction thru Surfacing.
Work Exp in Electrode extraction.
Work Exp in AutoCAD.
Responsibilities:--------------------------------
1. Manufacture and design of all types of injection moulds, pressure die casting tools.
2. Knowledge of GD&T for mechanical engineering standard for design symbol & tolerances of drawing.
3. Knowledge of Measuring Instrument.
4. Basic knowledge of Machine Drawing.
5. Basic concepts of TS of Design Dept. (Mechanical).
6. Measuring, checking, modifying product & drawing as per requirements.
7. Plastic, Rubber, Aluminum & Die casting component knowledge.
8. Finalization of spec. (Machining, Casting & Sheet metal product) with customer and understanding overall design requirement of new product.
9. Feasibility study for manufacturing.
10. Preparing concept proposal (Design and Development) of new product as per customer needs.
11. Preparing Product Development Planning according to MDS.
12. Design and Development new product with the help of CAD tool like Pro-e wildfire-4.0 and AUTOCAD.
13. Making proposal drawing and send to customer for approval.
14. Preparation of Plan drawing, Tolerance analysis and conducting design review.
15. Perform Design Simulation and CAE analysis for design verification.
16. Preparation of Engineering Bill of material when new projects are started.
17. Manufacturing & designing of Jig & Fixture for Machining, Casting & Sheet metal Component.
18. Technical discussions with vendors to finalizing product.
19. Contribution in New Design Patent related work.
20. Create and amend Process Flow Diagrams (if necessary) to effect process circuit.
21. Interaction with CFT and supplier during implementation phase of new products.
22. Design Control, ECN & ECRN Rising and Documentation like -DIF, DDF, DOF, DVF, PPAP ETC.
23. Good Process knowledge of CNC & VMC, Center-less grinding, Robotic welding, Injection molding, HPDC, LPDC.
