Essential Responsibilities
Executes the design and analysis, or evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles.
Understand the CTQs and generate Concepts and perform Detailed design, that meets Project / Product CTQ & complies with the applicable design Codes like ASME, DIN etc.,
Product development efforts including New Product Introductions (NPIs), customizations of existing products (CPOs) and production cost saving initiatives (VCPs)
Knowledge of ASME PIPING CODES like ASME B31.3, B31.1, B31.4, Y14.5, B16.5, B36.10, NACE, PED etc.,
Exposure to GD&T, Tolerance Analysis, FMEA, DFSS, DFR, DFMA, Lean NPI, TRIZ & other Product Development techniques / tools.
Familiarity in Strength / Design Calculations, FEA.
Exposure to various manufacturing process like Fabrication, Casting, Sheet metal, Machining & Forging.
Hands on Experience on Solid works or any 3D modeling software like Pro-E, UG etc., and AutoCAD.
Provide a key design interface between project teams and vendors.
Interacting with the vendors & clearing manufacturing issues.
Work closely with Sales / Application / Technology team around the globe and interact with them on a day-to-day basis.
Qualifications/Requirements
BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering with 3 to 6 Years of hands on Design experience.
Experience in Product Design environment, Design Calculations, Knowledge of ASME, Selection of Materials etc.,

Strong Analytical skills and Knowledge of tubing and Sheet metal.
Exposure to Oil & Gas industry and knowledge of flow measurement
