Position: Lead Engineer- Turbine Aero
Experience required for the Job: 3 - 9 years

Role Summary/Purpose :
* Play a key role in the conceptual, preliminary and detail design of Axial Turbines and sub systems
* Perform CFD to support Axial turbine design/operability through design & analysis
Essential Responsibilities :
* Play a key role in the conceptual, preliminary and detail design of Axial Turbines and sub systems
* Perform CFD to support Axial turbine design/operability through design & analysis
* Coming up with innovative solutions to enhance turbine Operability using innovative/advance technology
* Development of design and analysis methods leading to new/amendments to Design Practices
* Prepare Design documents and present in formal design reviews
Qualifications/Requirements :
* Postgraduate in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering with specialization in Turbo-machinery or Thermal Engineering or Aerodynamics
* Minimum 3 yrs experience in CFD/Flow analysis preferably on Gas Turbine components
* Good knowledge of Turbo-machinery, aerodynamics, compressible flows
* Should demonstrate superior communication skills both oral and written communication with the peers and global counterparts relative to the technical work performed
* Should demonstrate superior technical expertise, which includes analysis result interpretation
* Should Act in a self-propelled manner demonstrating curiosity and passion, seeking input within and outside Gas Turbine Technology for Advanced technology
* Should be Proficient at developing presentations, summarizing conclusions/recommendations from analysis
* Should be able to handle multiple projects successfully
Desired Characteristics :
* Experience in Design of Gas Turbine components
* Proficiency in UG/ICEM/CFX/TACOMA
* Programming/scripting skills
* Expertise/Experience in Turbine design
