Capacity is 1000 engines per day Production.

Job Location : Manesar(Gurgaon)
Qualification Required : BE/BTECH
Job Description:
Engineering Administrative activity
* To ensure good product data management information flow.
* Implementation & maintenance of IBOM system for BOM, ECN at SPIL.
* New model Localization proposal / Localization approval request creation & coordination with SMC.
* New model specific part list generation with the inputs from team.
New Parts Development * Participate in KSM meetings (Key Stakeholder Meetings) to identify the potential suppliers for the new part development
* Study the supplier proposals & make a TR plan in conjunction with QA & Purchase.
* Conduct the technical review of their capability in coordination with QA/ PI and Purchase.
* Ensure adherence to the timelines for parts development to meet project milestones.
* Support development of parts during localisation as per the SPIL requirements by closely monitoring the parts specification & drawing requirements.
* Conduct Design proto & production proto assembly trials, support in mass production & pilot trials at SPIL.
* Conduct PPAP (Part Production Approval Process) at supplier"s end.
* To arrange the rig test reports from suppliers wherever applicable.
VA VE activity
* Study components and prepare VA/VE (value analysis value engineering) proposals for further action and ensure implementation of approved VA/VE measures in coordination with the suppliers.
* To get SMC, Japan nod for cost reduction ideas through formal ECR route in IBOM.
MIS Reporting & Budgeting
* Update the project status, activity status report. (weekly basis)
* Supplier visit report. (As & when applicable)
* Failure analysis report. (As & when applicable)
Knowledge & Skills :
* Knowledge of new model development, vendor base
* CAD (UG, Catia etc)
* Basic understanding of drawing study.
* Manufacturing process & material knowledge.
* Understanding of VA/ VE activity.
* Analytical skills.
* Planning & scheduling skills.
