Position :. Sr Design Engineer /Design Engineer
Exp : 4- 8 Years
Education : BE(Mechanical)
Job Location : Bangalore
Roles & Responsibilities:
Exercises engineering responsibility for planning and completion of engineering projects within area of assigned responsibility by performing the following duties included.
1. Designs and development of sensory, mechanical for the automotive industry using various CAD and CAE tools.
2. Reviews product design for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, and customer contract requirements, and related specifications.
3. Creation of BOM, CAD Models, drawings, design calculations, related design documents like DFMEA, Stack-Ups, Validation plans, etc.
4. Follows development process, creates and maintains engineering documents to meet Quality System requirements. Participates in design reviews
5. Coordinates activities concerned with technical developments, scheduling, and resolving engineering design and test problems.
6. Supports DV and PV testing, customer builds, launches and production at company and customer plants.
7. Provides customer support and internal organizational support for mechanical and electrical design and manufacturing both on a product and systems level.
8. Evaluates and implements design changes, specifications, and drawing releases.
9. Performs product characterization and parametric testing.
10. Works on improvement of personal and department technical capabilities.
11. Communicates and coordinates engineering responsibilities with product development team members globally.
12. Supports new business quotation activities.
13. Leads and/or supports TS and ISO 14001 Roles, Responsibilities, and Authorities.
Skills Required:

Self learning, task oriented, outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
Knowledge and working experience in Solidworks
Knowledge and experience in Plastic Parts Design, class-A surfaces, design considerations for Plastic Injection Molding, Engineering Plastics
Knowledge and proficiency in automotive electrical systems
Knowledge and comprehension of printed circuit board technology (desirable)
Knowledge of APQP, Product Development Process
Good oral and written communication skills
