As part of Insurance Operations virtual team, the purpose of this profile is to work closely with client team in US in the areas of Risk Management. 

Designation: Design Engineer 

Job Profile: 
1) Working with cross-functional teams to classifiy material of turbines, compressors and other parts of power plant 
2) Prepare spare part requirements for regular maintenance and inspections for power plants and the equipments 
3) To work on Engineering system (iMan/IBM) and process 
4) Classify spares for types of inspection 
5) Interpretation of drawings of gas turbines, compressors, pumps, motors and equipments used in power plant. 
6) Understand the bill of material and prepare bill of material for components 
7) Prepare item code for equipments. 
8) Interpretation of spare part requirement sent by the companies 
9) Work in MS Office 2003 

Experience: 1.6 to 3 years 

Education: BE Mechanical/ Electrical 

Required Skill Set: 

1) BE in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent 
2) Understanding of Gas turbines, Centrifugal Compressors, Reciprocating Compressors, and Steam Turbines 
3) Hands on experience working with P&I (Process & Instrumentation) Drawings can be an advantage 
4) Understand and interpret technical documentation such as technical drawings, bill of materials, FMEA 
5) Understand the assemblies/sub assemblies/parts diagram. Knowledge of CAD software is desirable. 
6) Good technical documentation skills 
7) Quality focused : Six sigma trained / certified Green Belt will be an advantage 

Location: Bangalore 

Shift Timings: 2:00 PM to 11 PM 

Salary: Negotiable
