We are considering you for the role of Design Engineer for our Client MAHINDRA ENGINEERING.

JOB DESIGNATION/ROLE/POSITION

Job Title : Automotive Exterior Design Engineer (UG NX4)

Job Location : Pune

Profile Required:
An accomplished Design Engineer having 2+ years of experience in automotive industry. Having good experience in the area of Exterior, in automotive field. He is proficient in using UGNX4

Experience Required:
Experience in modeling and Exterior components design. Generating the drawings for the respective models in UGNX4.

Ability to conceptualize the design & convert ideas into 3D Models & Product design using 3D CAD software, specifically Unigraphics.
Worked on Design of Bumper, Hood, Mascot , Decal, Mudguard, Splash panel, Spray Suppressions, Sunshade, Rear view mirror, Bezel, Grab Handle, Spoiler, Air deflector, Foot step, Fender, Mud flap, Insulation.

Experience in creating concept for components, packaging study, gap requirements & feasibility study.
Working knowledge of Bond gap, clearances, gap analysis, draft requirements.

Knowledge of design & manufacturing process of SMC / Meton / FRP parts. Knowledge of different material & processes of Rubber, Adhesives, Door beading seals.
Working experience in Automobile / Aerospace /Tool & Fixture design
Strong knowledge of Design / Drafting fundamentals & International standards. Knowledge of GD&T, DVP, DFMEA.
Basic knowledge of Sheet metal components.
Basic knowledge of Truck Exterior components.
Basic knowledge of converting wire frame to Class A surface.
All “B†side features and mountings to be created as parametric models in UGNX4

Qualification: BE (Mech) with 2.5 Years experience
Diploma (Mech) with 4.5 years experience
