Educational Qualification. 
1) Graduate in Mechanical / Production Engineering from a reputed institution preferably from a Central / State Government college in 1st Division. 
At least 1st Division in Class – X & XII examinations. 
OR 
2) Diploma in Mechanical / Production Engineering from a reputed institution preferably from a Central / State Government college in 1st Division. 
At least 1st Division in Class – X & XII examinations 

Job Description : 

• Ability of reading and interpreting part & assy. drawings. 

• Good understanding of sheet Metal mechanism such as Door Regulator, Door Latches, Fuel Tank Assembly, Fuel Pump, Instrument Penal Members, etc. and their manufacturing processes & assembly operations. 

• Good understanding for various online checks carried out in Sheet Metal part manufacturing Pressing, welding, Riveting and assembly line operations. 

• Knowledge of manufacturing & inspection of Sheet Metal assembly parts as indicated above. 

• Idea about common defects and trouble shooting in above areas. 

• Experience of design validation and use of checking fixtures / panel checking jigs 

• Ability to understand a quality problem & then carry out root cause analysis and countermeasure skills using QC tools. 

• Experience with measuring devices like layout checking machine (CMM), micrometers, height gauges , paint coating thickness gauges etc. 

• Experience in line set up i.e. single piece flow, U line concept, fool proofing etc. 

• Experience in carrying out process audit, peak production verification trials at vendor end. 

Computer proficiency: Familiarity with MS Office, CAE and CAD software like Pro-E , UG, etc 

General: Positive attitude towards work, ability of team work with internal as well as vendor teams.
