Job Specifications: ES09-32_CAE Safety

Education
• Graduate or Post graduate in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

Experience
• 3 to 6 years of experience in CAE modeling and analysis in Automotive Crash
• Experience in hexa-meshing is a must
• Experience in working on commercial vehicles will be preferred

Skill Requirements
• CAE: Experience with Hypermesh / Ansa / Medina for preprocessing and LS-Dyna for analysis
• Experience in Medina will be valued
• Knowledge of German language and experience in staying in Germany is a strong added value

Job Responsibilities
• FE-Modeling of BIW and power train (no engines), axles (including hexa mesh and spot welds)
• Assembly of sub and full vehicle models in Medina including model welding
• Definition of boundary conditions and creation of LS-Dyna FE-modules and Dyna ctrl-Decks including quality checks in Medina
• Documentation of model building, including quality checks (penetrations, element quality, etc.) according to the specifications provided
• Execution of Dyna test runs of created modules and complete vehicle models (test of solver compatibility, boundary conditions, element quality)
• Communication with the concerned partners in Germany
