We have opening in our client company JCB, Pune for the position of Design Engineer , I am sending you the Job Description for the same.
Eligibility / Qualification Criteria:-Degree qualified (B E) Mechanical Engineering
Experience:- Min 2 to 3 years experience in product engineering design operating in a 3D CAD environment (preferable Unigraphics NX4)
Role Experience:
1. Prepare design concepts, general arrangement and detail drawings for new designs, VAVE
work, and solutions to field issues on current and new products.
2. Preparation of technical specifications and bills of material.
3. Conduct engineering calculations and simulations for engineering solutions.
4. Prepare, update and issue of control documents such as Engineering change notes, s, timing
plan, cost estimation, etc.
5. Hands-on prototype builds support and testing.
6. Liaison with internal / external customers & departments
Specific Skills:
1. Proficient in 3D CAD
2. Skilled in reading and preparing engineering drawings
3. Skilled in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
4. Able to demonstrate understanding of hydraulics, electrics, fabricated structures,
mechanisms, welding, engine installations, drive lines used on mobile equipment.
5. Knowledge of PLM / Team centre preferred.
6. Skilled in problem solving and root cause analysis.
7. An attention to detail
8. Enthusiasm, ability to communicate and influence change.
