We are in lookout for Engineer for Chassis- Suspension system responsible for engg changes/ cost reduction/ TGW reduction/ freshening programs.
Location of Position CHENNAI ASSY PLANT
Position Responsibilities
1.Design of chassis system parts in vehicle with in-depth knowledge in suspension system components
2.Lead design changes to address manufacturing, quality and service concerns
3.Identify, conceptualize new features for product upgrade
4.Liaise with overseas program PD teams and provide India lessons learnt information and buy off design.
5.Lead engineering activities in localization
6.Lead value engineering/cost reduction activities
7.Maintain competitive benchmarking information for chassis parts.
8.Have good knowledge of NVH and performance requirement of suspension system
Education Qualification :B.E / B.Tech. in Mech/Automobile .
Professional Exposure:Prior experience in automotive design, development & testing of suspension system components for cost reduction, quality/design upgrade, new models etc..
Special Knowledge or skill required Problem solving techniques, DFMEA, DVP.
