We have immediate requirement for Product Development Engineer.
Position: Product Development Engineer
Location: Bangalore and Coimbatore
Job Description:
Technical requirements:
1. Hands on experience on new product development projects
2. Design and development of pumps
3. System level understanding of products and ability to break it down to subsystem level specifications, developing design validation plans and reliability understanding of systems is essential.
4. Sound knowledge of handling assembly, sub assembly & component level designs, prototype development, FEA/CFD simulation in a product development environment are a must.
5. Ability to interface with cross functional teams effectively and take complete techno commercial ownership of the project.
6. Knowledge on casting components, machined components and Plastics component design and various manufacturing processes are preferred.
7. Experience on DFMEA and PFMEA
8. Good Knowledge on GD&T and Tolerance stack up is essential.
9. Exposure to product performance and reliability testing would be added advantage.
Domain knowledge : New Productg Development
CAD Knowledge : Pro E WF 2.0 / 4.0
General requirements:
10. Excellent communication
11. Prior work experience in a similar industry is preferable.
12. Ability to travel locally & internationally at short notices
13. Willing to work in onsite locations over extended periods.
Recommended fields:
Pressure pumps domain
Qualifications:
B.E/ B.Tech (Mechanical)
Experience Profile:
6 to 8 yrs experience
