The location of posting is Bangalore.

Education & Training:
B.E (Mechanical / Production), Domain trainings in Plastics, Tooling.

Relevant Experience Required:
3-9 yrs of experience in design & development of Exterior Trims components (Must have worked on at least 1 complete program). Preferably worked with Global projects with international OEMs/Tier 1 suppliers

Skill Requirements:
* Ability to take Design decisions related to Plastic components from Tooling perspective
* Knowledge of Stack-up, plastic material for automotive exterior components
* Must be capable of performing Design Reviews in a structured manner
* Knowledge of regulatory requirements - European & US
* CATIA V5 Part Design, GSD, Drawing. Knowledge of DC methodology.
* Working Experience in Weight reduction methods (VAVE)
* Experience in Daimler Norms & DBL standards, DIALOG & SMARAGD will be an advantage
* Knowledge in Nx would be desirable.
* Intercultural Experience: 1 to 2 years of Onsite experience, working exposure in Europe with European clients & must be able to interact with the German teams.
* Team Player; should have the attitude to work with the team & also shoulder individual responsibility wherever needed

Job Responsibilities:
* Design & development of Chrome Plated Exterior components like Grille, Badges, Logos, and License Plate Lamp Carrier.
* Propose & evaluate the design proposals based on the regulations & vehicle level targets
* Perform Design Reviews
* Release parts/assemblies via Daimler data management system
* Communication with cross functional teams in Germany & India
* Assist team leader to achieve company goals / objectives
