Job Profile -
* Qualification: B.Tech/ BE in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering
* 2-8 yrs of experience

RESPONSIBILITY:
* Making of system layouts like suspension, steering, wheel ends, fuel tank, exhaust, spare wheel, engine & transmission.
* Detailing of parts 2d dwgs & GD&T.
* Skill to develop free body diagram for system & calculation of stress for design.
* Design of suspension parts like antiroll bars, springs, dampers, suspension control arms
* Designing of chassis components, selection of sections, materials and use CAE.
* Design & development of steering components like steering gear, steering column, steering pump & its flow characteristics.
* Design & selection of tyre & rim selection its packaging on vehicle.
* Packaging of various wheel end components & their packaging. Selection of suitable bearing technology & packaging

JOB ROLE:
* Development of component designs calculations sheets.
* Guidance to CAD designers for various system layouts
* 2D dwgs checking & selection of materials
* Releasing of dwgs through systems
* Preparation of DFMEA , DVP as an engineering process development
* Lead the chassis systems for project level meetings & CFTs
* Interfacing with material management team for development of parts
* Conducting line trials, resolving manufacturing line issues
* Development of vehicle for suspension, tyre & steering
* Work with teams for reducing warranty concerns & IQs
* Working for cost reduction programs
* Benchmarking of various chassis, suspension steering systems.
