Designation Assitant Manager-Research & Development(FEA)

Job Description : Autonomous work on FEA projects

Plan and execute the project content.

Carry out FEA activities with ansys classic and hyper works products

Carry out machine element calculation.

Able to work with high accuracy.

Structure analysis of CMB, Compressor and Mounting Bracket.
Model Analysis and Spectrum Analysis of Compressor Mounting Brackett and Condenser.
Meshing of the component of the CFD and CAE model. Example Blower wheel, Hvac, CMB, and Condenser etc.
Develop new concept of the HVAC, which is consisting Blower, Cooling case, and FAD. Design Core team member of design department in cross-functional team.
Interaction with different departments to understand their needs and problems so that quality of design can be improved for the ease of all for cost and time saving.
Discrimination and Meshing of the Vehicle component for CAE & CFD Analysis.

Desired Profile FEA experience with sheet metal projects and CATIA.
Desired Skills/Competencies • Good knowledge and exposure to FEA using analysis Classic and Hyper work products.

• Good Knowledge of structures, strength of materials and machine design.
• Good in Catia V5

Experience 2-4 years

Industry Type Manufacturing/Construction Equipment.

Functional Area Research & Development.

Education BE (Mechanical/Mechatronics) with good grades.

Essential :

B.E / B. Tech in Mechnical / Automobile

Minimum 60 % marks


Responsibilities:

  Bench testing of gear shift linkages and gear-box parts

  Analysis of market problem/ failure pertaining to gear-box, gear shifting, clutch and clutch release system

  Evaluation of transmission parts of new models in actual vehicle

Fine tuning of clutch characteristics and gear shift feeling.

Technical/ Functional:

  Hand-on experience of working on gear-box endurance testing machine, clutch testing

  Understanding of transmission sub-systems- gearbox, gear shift mechanism, synchromesh system (synchronizer rings), clutch, clutch cable, gear shift lever assembly.



Specific expertise required for functional area :

  Evaluating gear shift feeling in vehicle

Evaluating clutch pedal feeling and its fine tuning to improve NVH characteristics of vehicle.
