* Support Utility Vehicle Platform on design projects for sub-systems such as frame, cargo box, suspension and steering systems etc.

* Design utility vehicle mechanical components and systems within cost, reliability, and performance metrics.

* Design and develop new concepts for meeting CI and VI goals.

* Provide technical support to team members.

* Design and Develop new concepts for meeting design goals.

* Analyze failure modes and provide solutions for ongoing product improvement.

* Promote TCI engineering capabilities as a platform team member at the unit. Facilitate clear understanding of technical requirements and design constraints between unit engineers and TCI team members.

Qualifications
(BE Mechanical with experience 2 - 7 years) 
* Relevant experience in structural design
* Ability to independently work & lead design projects
* Design mechanical components and systems (e.g. frame, suspension, steering, structures etc.) within cost, reliability, and performance metrics.
* Analyze failure modes and provide solutions for ongoing product improvement.
* Strong knowledge in structural designing with sheetmetal components, weldment and large fabrications using Pro-Sheetmetal (Must)
*Strong knowledge in manufacturing methods
* Strong knowledge in GD&T and its application.
* Strong basics in Engineering Calculations.

Technical Skills:* Good basics on Mechanical Engineering principles, engineering calculations and knowledge on manufacturing processes.
* Successful project leadership with a team of 3 to 6 members.
* Strong knowledge in designing Sheetmetal components, weldment and Large fabrications.
* Should have a good knowledge of material standards and engineering practices
* Should be able to provide alternate solutions for cost and quality improvement.
* Should be able communicate in English well both in written and spoken.
* Familiarity with automotive or agricultural equipments will be an added advantage.
* Should be able to develop Design concepts
* Should be able to work in team and support team, based on the organizational requirement.
* Proficiency in Pro/Engineer modules.
* Exposure to EPDP/PLPDP
* Working knowledge in PDMLink/Windchill.
* Experience of leading Design project and international exposure.
