Roles & Responsibilities :

Hands on experience on Mechanical Design / Product Development of Mechanical assemblies and components made of different materials like Engineering Steels, Aluminium, Plastics, Sheet metal etc.

Clear understanding of Design and Drawing standards, Material specifications, excellent capabilities to create complex Engineering drawings on Unigraphics with ease.

Excellent Analytical skills, hands on with Mechanical Design calculations from first principles, as a basis for component selection and analysis.
Very Conversant with hard core Design principles and able to apply them with ease on day-to-day basis.

Excellent understanding of manufacturing processes like machining, sheet metal manufacturing, Steel and Grey Iron castings, Aluminium die casting, and Plastic moulding processes - achievable tolerances and accuracies by each process and associated costs.

Excellent understanding of Limits, Fits Tolerances, and effective application of GD&T on drawings, to achieve optimum functionality and cost of each component.

Very good experience with conceptual design is a mandatory skill. Should be able to develop concepts right from scratch, with various alternatives and finalize the best possible solution and implement the same.

Hands on with selection on various engineering materials, both metals and non-metals.
