Knowledge of 2D design and checking (GD&T, design standards),
Ability to perform concept and feasibility studies,
Ability to perform required hand calculations,
Knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes
Package feasibility
Variant investigations and benchmarking
Knowledge of D-BOM, E-BOM, M-BOM
knowledge of DFM, DFA, DFSS,DFMEA, PFMEA
Knowledge of product verification and validation - component level and system level"
Software skills
Proficiency in use of CAD softwares - CATIAV5
Proficiency in use of simulation softwares for brakes, suspension, steering, axles, Rear ,Front,suspension,Exhaust, etc. - CarSim
Soft skills:
Coordination ability
Presentation skills
attention to details
Good communication skills
Knowing South Indian language will be an added advantage
