The Lead Engg/ Engineer in the gas turbine component analysis will independently lead team in durability assessment of the gas turbine components like rotors, casings, airfoils, hot gas path and combustion. This involves application of stress, fatigue analysis and structural design philosophies. 

Role Summary/Purpose: 
Lead Engg/ Engineer in the gas turbine component analysis will independently lead team in durability assessment of the gas turbine components like rotors, casings, airfoils, hot gas path and combustion. This involves application of stress, fatigue analysis and structural design philosophies. 

Essential Responsibilities: 
* Provide technical mentoring to build a world-class global analysis team and, -perform Analysis of gas turbine components using Ansys, Pro/E, HyperMesh tools. 
* Provide leadership and technical direction for assigned technology responsibilities and programs. 
* Work closely with stress analysis, design & drafting teams to assure that design intent from conceptual definition to finished product is achieved considering form, fit and function. 
* As required, interface with other design groups at different global sites. 
* Support cost reduction, cycle reduction, and product quality enhancement projects. 
* Use Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) tools and techniques for all Process Improvements. 

Qualifications/Requirements: 
* BE/MTech - Mechanical / Aerospace Engineering from a reputed institute 
* with 3 - 8 years of analysis experience of mechanical equipments & machinery like gas turbines 
* Hands-on experience in linear static analysis, contact analysis, elastic-plastic analysis, fatigue & fracture analysis, buckling analysis etc. 
* Possess excellent knowledge of mechanical design and analysis. 
* Proficiency in design standards. 
Exposure to manufacturing, inspection and refurbishment processes 

Desired Characteristics : 
* Gas Turbine component analysis experience. 
* Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills 
* Minimum 1 year Engineering / Technology Leadership Experience
