Job Title : Project Engineer Drive Turbines
Educational Requirements
: Bachelors/ Masters in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant Engineering degree.
Experience : 2 to 5 Years
Salary : 3 to 5 LPA
Job Location :- Pune

Role :- The role is to plan, implement, monitor and control Elliott turbine projects.
The purpose of this role is to manage drive turbine projects in least cost and on time completion.
Position in Organisation
Reports to Head - Product Engineering
Day to day liaison with Head - Product Engineering
Interaction with: Other Engineering groups within the organization Manufacturing, Marketing / Sales, Project Team / Contract Management, Customer, Quality Department, Purchasing, suppliers and subcontractors.
Job Requirements
-Prepare strategy and plan for meeting the steam turbine sales target and ensure its execution
-Implement, Coordinate and monitor turbine business AOP
-Allocate engineering and purchase resources to meet the AOP
-Ensure with operations group so that production resources are allocated to meet the AOP
-Timely receipt of receivables including LD waivers
-Review and monitor business performance and plan for corrective action in case of shortfall
-Review performance against set goals
-Monitor project progress wrt CDD and estimated cost on a weekly basis
-Make decisions based on project progress
-Plan for redistribution of targets and/or revised phasing of targets
-Identify gaps and Reform drive turbine division processes to achieve timely delivery and zero rework
-Ensure the WIP management for effective management of working capital
-Provide specific assistance to engineering, purchase and production teams on resolving bottles necks, problems and customer deadlocks
Internal processes
-Ensure timely response from the international technology partners.
-Project monitoring with Elliott for clarifications on technical issues , BOM, short supply etc.
-Successful order amendments, CDD extensions, short supply permissions, split orders, Road permits etc as requested by project managers
-Use of advanced IT tools and netwrok techniques like CCPM for enhancing process efficieny
-Interact with customers towards building a better relationship and to get inputs on service levels and customer requirements
-Manage key customer relationships through periodic meetings, etc
Perform the role of team member/leader
- Manage and support recruitment, set KRA's for direct reports, monitor overall team's KRA's, conduct performance appraisal, ensure clarity and delineation of individual roles, appropriate delegation of responsibility
- Oversee staff deployment and drive motivation levels of the team, monitor staff welfare and facilitate complaint resolution, manage efficiency levels and drive timely delivery of all operational targets
- Improve employee engagement (from current 15 % to 60 %)
