We are a placement agency by the name of Margdarshan HR Consultancy Services in Pune . We have very urgent requirement for our MNC automobile client in their Department of Chassis located in Pune. With details as under

Designation :- Chassis Engineer 

Educational Qualification :- BE Mechanical

Experience :- 3-7 years in Automobile industry, preferably in Automotive 
Chassis System.

Salary :- No bar for right candidate.

Job Location :- Pune

Responsibility:-

1. As part of the R&D support team at VW. Some of the key tasks handled by me in the Chassis department are as follows.
2. Co-ordination between R&D Germany and Technical office India on component development and Design Issues.
3. Lead Development engineer – Chassis front axle for the VW Polo 250, 251 platforms.
4. Components handled by me include the Front Axle (Subframe, control arm, stabilizer, Driveshaft, Steering knuckle, Hubs & wheel bearings) & complete steering system (Steering gear, column & wheel).
5. Played and active role along with the VW planning department to develop assembly fixtures and machines for Front axle assemblies & corner module subassemblies. 
6. Support for production activities and resolution of real time assembly line problems. 
7. Follow up and R&D contact with local Indian Vendors for component production and prototyping.
8. Visits to Indian suppliers to evaluate development activities and to ensure supplier readiness for vehicle builds. 
9. Formulation of the design validation plan along with suppliers and R&D Germany for each component.
10. Planning for Vehicle level Endurance and functional tests for Chassis components. Ensure vehicle test schedules at VW Wolfsburg are met & part performance requirements are understood by the Indian suppliers. 
11. Proactively worked with the CFT team at VW and achieved pre-ponement of localization for the Driveshaft, hence ensuring savings in vehicle cost. 
12. Actively involved with VW Quality counterparts during Quality assessment visits to the local suppliers.
13. Involved with the Press team at VW for preparation of vehicles for Press events.
14. Played a key role in vehicle dynamic testing and underwent special drive testing training from VW experts.

Desired Candidate Profile:
Minimum 3 yrs Of Experience in similar field.Prior experience in HONDA& HYUNDAI is preferred.
