Requirement Locations: Gurgaon
Salary Expected: 20% to maximum 30 % rise on CTC (Including Variables)

Responsibilities:
* Lay outing, Feasibility study, Master section & Concepts for full door systems (including structure, mechanisms, glass & seals).
* Should be capable of designing full door from concept to final design, detailed knowledge of CAE of door. Knowledge of testing & approval of doors system.
* Complex CAD Modeling (CATIA/UG), manufacturing drawings & BOM creation.
* Engineering Support to Vehicle integration, DFM, DFA and CAE activities.
* Coordination with manufacturing, assembly & service group for effective design
* To work in PDM/PLM environment.
* Take ownership of the assigned tasks; meet the estimated time & quality.
* May need to work on stretched targets
* May need to travel.

Desired Competency:
* Experience in design of Sheet metal BIW components for Door / Closure.
* Good knowledge of materials & their properties.
* Good knowledge about various manufacturing processes.
* Good knowledge about DFMEA, DVPR, DFM, DFA, DFS.
* Good knowledge about passenger vehicle regulations for India.
* Ability to generate the concept &criteria sections based on benchmarking,
Carryover item or hand sketches.
* Experience & fully capable in CATIA V5/UG (Part modeling, Surfacing, Asm, drafting)
* Should be able to do interaction with suppliers.
* Basic working knowledge of PDM/PLM (preferably Wind-chill / Team Center)
* Capable of creating manufacturing drawings for components & assemblies.
* Capable of handling BOM generation & releases

The Interiors Plastics Engineer candidate will have at least 3yrs years of Product design experience on Interior components (Headliner and/or Floor and/or Trim parts)
Experience working on Natural and Composite Materials
Ability to interact with the customer through surface development and feasibility
CATIA V5/NX Part Design, GSD, DMU, Drawing
Knowledge of regulatory requirements European & US.
Knowledge of plastic part design & manufacturing processes (Headliner and/or Floor and/or Trim parts)
Data Management, PLM, Release Control and Co-ordination, Understanding Drawing standards.
Experience in Mercedes Benz Norms and DBL standards, DIALOG and SMARAGD will be an advantage.
