Job Description:
Product Engineer (Steering)
BE (Mechanical) 3-5 years experience.
Responsible for product design support and insuring designs meet customer requirements.
Serve as a team member on multi-discipline Project Development Teams.
Work is of a technical nature where decisions are made within the limits of general practices and procedures.
Creativity and initiative is expected to make engineering decisions.

Position Details:
Demonstrated knowledge of assigned Steering products
Should have experience in auto industry.
Initiative to establish good relationships with the Customer engineering team to ensure that solutions to problems can be resolved.
Must maintain a professional image and good relations with a diverse group of people.
Skilled in problem solving and root cause analysis.
Able to skilfully read Customer Drawings and SOR, including a good understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD&T).
Able to understand and apply design standards and tools, such as PDP, DFMEA and SPC.
