BIW Engineer
Location: Kandivli, Mumbai
Exp: 2-4 yrs

RESPONSIBILITY:
Sub system & Component level designing of BIW using CAD software like CATIA V5. Interact with Implementation/Supplier/ CAE group to optimize the BIW design.

COMPETENCY EXPECTED:
High ranking graduates from reputed institutes with Work experience of 1 to 2 years in BIW Design.
OR
High ranking diploma holder from reputed institutes with Work experience of 3 to 4 years in BIW Design

Proficient in Surface/Solid modeling & Assembly Design using CATIA V5. Good knowledge of using FTA, GSO, Kinematics and AB3 modules.

Work experience in BIW design area. Adequate knowledge of Sheet Metal Forming process & BIW Assembly procedures. Basic knowledge of APQP Process and Conversant using DFMEA & Root cause analysis techniques.

Good Communication skills and teamwork to interact with design, test & manufacturing engineers. Good knowledge of GD&T. Capable of using Microsoft office.

ACADEMIC BACKGROUND:
BTech/ BE in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering
Diploma in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering

SOFT SKILLS:
Professional attitude, Friendly disposition, Team worker, Go getter, Ingenious Having other interests outside work, Auto passion.
