Area of Working: Gurgaon
Education: Degree in Mech. engg 
Experience: 4- 10 yrs. exp. 
Basic profile :Vehicle engg for three/4 wheeler projects: -Preferred from three/four wheeler industry, otherwise from any automobile industry -Candidates from three wheeler, tractors, truck industries will be preferred. -
Candidates experienced in design and development of suspension,chassis,controls strg. Brakes and vehicle integration will be preferred. -Emoluments no bar depending upon expertise -

Location: Gurgaon Company profile: -Part of 40 year old BAXY Group with turnover of 1500 crores -Oriental Structural Engineers and Central Park are two construction companies dealing in highways, Airport strips, group housing, hotels and Malls construction. Their turnover is Rs 1250 crores -Continental Engines Ltd ,the third company has four units,This company is 20 years old 1.Alumunium pressure die cast foundary at Bhiwadi (~70 kms from Delhi), 2.Machining division for machining automotive alumunium die cast components also at Bhiwadi.with 90% turnover exported, specialization in supplying cyl heads, engine blocks, manifolds, bell housings and Alumunium brackets for car industry 3.Baxy-infosol: 600 seater high end Call Center at Gurgaon,started in Feb 2005 4.Baxy Motors ,new venture for making diesel engines and three wheeler vehicles. Tech colloboration for engines with VM MOTORI ,a Chrysler group company in Italy since July.05. Has taken over in Aug,2005 car engine reconditioning company Vege Motore having plants in Holland and Tunesia catering to 35 car engine models (60000 engines per annum)across all countries of western Europe.By June ,06 Baxy Motors plans to acquire US and Mexican operations of Vege Motoren Continental Engines had a turn over of 150 crores but it is expected to catapult to ~Rs 800 crores from the above mentioned 4 units in the current year Manpower in CEL is 1000 strong Job Profile: Design Executives for Baxy Motors for engine and three wheeler projects. Baxy motors plan to start by manufacturing. diesel engines of 8 to 20 hp and develop diesel driven three wheelers for goods and passenger applications .Present stage of project is three wheeler third gen proto is ready for final performance evaluations. Engine co mponents development work has just started. Transmission design is completed along with gears /bearings life analysis . Candidates to be familiar with basic automotive principles and should be experienced in Vehicle aggregates design and development or in Vehicle testing, homologation, endurance methods, set ups and procedures Designers to have hands on Pro-E skills. Should be familiar with design procedures, standards and other design tools like FMEA,Value Engg ,low end design analysis, QFD and design of experiments for optimizing the designs. Should have aptitude for R D, creativity ,problem solving and interfacing skills with plant functions 
Vehicle engg man should be familiar with function and design basis of vehicle aggregates like vehicle , chasis, body, brakes, suspension, steering and basic vehicle dynamics. Should be able to integrate aggregates to make and test vehicle with full compatibility to end targets and homologation norms. Should have all other traits as written in bold under engine designer profile. Person should be also familiar with CMVR rules and procedures.Hands on experience of aggregate and vehicle testing methods,instrumentation,test result analysis and endurance trials will be prefered. Baxy design and development team is 5 man team today and will grow to 11 in next six months 
Team is being led by Satish Seam,who has 34 years of experience in automotive R D,Has headed EICHER tractor R D and EICHER Engine Center of Excellence.He specializes in driveline design and off highway vehicle engg .
