POSITION - Mechanical Design Engineer 

LOCATION - PUNE

Purpose/Summary: 

Primary Duties
1. Generate functional requirement specifications to control design direction on new product development.
2. Provide interpretation of standards (UL, CUL, CE, NEC, NEMA)
3. Lead design direction
4. Design, model (3D) and select required materials for new parts (E.g. plastic, die cast, sheet steel, fasteners, etc)
5. Carry out thermal design analysis
6. Carry structural design analysis
7. Provide new component approval
8. Define type test requirements
9. Document design (Technical files, etc)
10. Lead design reviews
11. Supervise other Engineers in their design work
12. Help to develop conceptual design direction
13. Help to formulate design process / tools
14. Help to formulate key technology strategies
15. Help plan sections of project
16. Promote safe working.

Key skills
1. Strong background in 3-D design using Pro-E
2. Tools: CAD Pro-E, Excel, general Data Management, ETC.
3. Good interpersonal skills, project leadership ability, and excellent written and verbal communications.

Candidate should have at least - 5-10 years, BSME
