Relevant Experience Required:
3-8 yrs of experience on development programs of Outer Mirror Assembly, Door Module (Latch & Linkage Assembly, Hinges, Window Regulator, Outer Handle), Bumpers, Fender & Steps, Front End Module, Aerodynamic Components (Roof/Side Deflector), Wiper & Washing System. Preferably worked with Global projects with international OEMs/Tier 1 suppliers
Skill Requirements:
1. Ability to take Design decisions related to Plastic components from Tooling/Manufacturing/Prototyping perspective
2. Knowledge of Stack-up, plastic material for automotive exterior components
3. Must be capable of performing Design Reviews in a structured manner
4. Knowledge of regulatory requirements - European & US
5. CATIA V5 Part Design, GSD, Drawing. Knowledge of DC methodology.
6. Working Experience in Weight reduction methods (VAVE)
7. Experience in Daimler Norms & DBL standards, DIALOG & SMARAGD will be an advantage
8. Intercultural Experience: 1 to 2 years of Onsite experience, working exposure in Europe with European clients & must be able to interact with the German teams.
9. Team Player; should have the attitude to work with the team & also shoulder individual responsibility wherever needed

1. Design & development of Truck Exterior components- Bumpers, Fender & Step, Front Module
2. Propose & evaluate the design proposals based on the regulations & vehicle level targets
3. Perform Design Reviews
4. Release parts/assemblies via Daimler data management system
5. Communication with cross functional teams in Germany & India
6. Assist team leader to achieve company goals / objectives
