One of our clients is looking for Position Manager- Trims.

Educational Qualification:
Graduate, Post Graduate in Mechanical Engineering

Experience & background:

* Experience in Trim Design at Automobile OEM or Tier 1 per the Experience Matrix
* At least one complete project execution experience for a vehicle trim system of: Instrument Panel; Cockpit engineering; Interior or Exterior trim including engineering, design and execution.
* Exposure to global requirements for Instrument Panel / Cockpit / Exterior / Interior.
* Expertise on plastic component design and knowledge and understanding of tooling.
* Sound knowledge of engineering and system documents like DFMEA, DVP, DFA, DOE etc.
* Exposure to Catia V5 and engineering data management systems.

Responsibilities:

* Understand project requirements as per program milestones. (Any automotive OEM Product Development Gateway System)
* Project delivery related to engineering and design from kick off to implementation including; QFD, benchmarking, feature analysis, engineering, drawing and model preparation & release, CAE and physical validation support, development & implementation support
* Engineering proposals preparation in consultation with COE / internal external (Supplier) experts.
* Release of drawings and models in systems with related Quality checks
* Assign job to team members according to skills and time availability.
* Organize and manage project activities and reviews with Cross Functional Team, system leads and COE.
* Preparation of Bill of material with support of designers.
